Thank you for considering Melhorn Builders to build your project. We try to keep things simple, and have outlined 4 easy steps we take to guide you through the decision making process.

1) MAKE CONTACT

Before we meet to talk about your project, we will need some preliminary information from you. Please complete the Project Action Form located on this page. Upon review, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.

2) LET'S MEET

Once we have reviewed your completed questionnaire, we will contact you to schedule a meeting. Come prepared with any visuals and/or specific written details which may support your vision. We’ll review them with you at our office, explore options and answer any questions you have.

3) ESTIMATE & REVIEW

Following our initial meeting, we will provide a written estimate. Melhorn Builders will prepare some basic designs, if needed, to support and clarify the estimate. Once you’ve carefully reviewed the information, we’ll happily address any questions or concerns.

4) REFINE & ACTIVATE

A design deposit will be requested once you choose us to work with us. This deposit allows our designers to work on more detailed drawings. As we refine the design to meet your goals, the scope of work may be adjusted as required. Upon your approval the design and scope of work, the contract will be written. The plans, specifications sheet and contract will be executed by you and Melhorn Builders. If a lender is involved, they will require a copy of these documents as well. At that point, we get to work on your project!
